INTRODUCING

THE WRITING ENGINE

A duplicatable spreadsheet tool that will guide you to hit your writing goals, sell your Story and start your Career.

WHAT IS THE WRITING ENGINE?

A Proven Method For Tracking Pages Written, Pages Written Until Deadline, and Project Deadlines
This spreadsheet automatically updates to reflect your daily page count goals based on how many pages you have written and when you need to finish the script.

A Tool That Will Force You To Write Faster, Write Better, and Finish More Scripts
One of the key elements to writing faster is to track how many pages you are writing each day and match it against what you aspire to finish in a given year. If you write one page per day, you’ll finish four scripts a year. What if you want to write more? This spreadsheet will give you firm deadlines and pages to hit per day.

A Step-By-Step Guide To Creating Your Writing Schedule
Do you need to take off your birthday and anniversary? How many vacation days do you need? Will you write on Christmas? All these questions are answered in the step-by-step instructions that help you stay on track. If you choose not to write on a given holiday, the spreadsheet will update to ensure you don’t have to.

I know I should write more, but I never seem to finish my scripts.

Most aspiring writers struggle with finishing scripts on a deadline.

It’s why I developed the 30 Days to A Screenplay system. I wanted to help you focus on what matters most in life: writing, and having a writer’s life that allows you to spend time with your family.

“If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it.” – Peter Drucker, Think And Grow Rich

When you track how many pages you write every day, and you have a system in place that allows you to see how many pages you must continue to write per day to hit your deadline, things get real.

THIS WILL SAVE YOU TIME THAT YOU SHOULD BE SPENDING ON YOUR SCRIPT.

I want you to stop focusing on calculating page counts, or thinking about how much you have to write every day. This system takes care of it for you, so you can focus on the important thing:

WRITING!

That’s why it’s called The Writing Engine. It accelerates you into finishing scripts.

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1

Input the number of scripts you want to write, the number of days off you require and the important deadline dates.

STEP 2

Look at the chart every day to see how many pages you have to write on any given day. Write those pages. (This is the important part)

STEP 3

Finish your scripts by the deadlines and submit to contests or agencies. Continue on to the next script, and follow the chart to finish the amount of scripts you aspire towards.
